So I think I mentioned a few weeks ago that I was cooking at a Cub Scout camp for the summer, not unlike what I do during the rest of the year just longer hours. The biggest differences are that I’m living on location, working 12 to 15 hours a day and only get one day off a week. That being Saturday. So this past week I went home after the second biggest week of the summer, looking forward to sleeping in and a day of relaxation, but dreading the biggest week of the summer that was coming up. When I started talking to a friend on Facebook who wanted to go out the next day to Lancaster Pa. She had signed up for a Meetup group that was doing a photo walk in town. The only thing was it’s three hours away, and started at ten. That meant that I had to be up at 5:30 to shower and get ready, travel forty minutes to Scranton to meet her and then head down to Lancaster. I was gonna sleep in and watch movies and relax. Did I say I was gonna sleep in? Well at 11 o’clock I agreed and started to wrap things up, set the alarm, and got to bed near midnight. I woke up before the alarm and got there on time. Had a great time driving down, talking and listening to music. We met some wonderful people and got to see part of Lancaster that one doesn’t necessarily think to go see. Here are a few of the pictures that I took and will post another group soon.
OH and by the way, we only saw one horse and buggy.
